When I read first about this month’s photography and styling challenge on one of my favourite foodblog, on Junglefrog Cooking by Simone, I was very happy with this month’s theme: all white!
I like to read Simone’s blog cause usually she gives practical advices for all beginner foodbloggers. Many thanks!
After then I just had to figure out what to make…
And what was the first thing crossed my mind on that word white? To me quark, milk and soured cream of course!

Next morning I was looking for something in my fridge when I discovered some fresh figs.
Yes, I’ll make a smoothie with fresh figs. It’s quite white, isn’t it?

Well, if it might not as white as I supposed, healthy, easy, and delicious! Try it!
Ingredients:
Serves 2
50 gr rolled oatmeal
cc 250 ml cold water
400 ml cold milk
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2-3 tablespoon sugar (or to taste)
120 gr natural yoghurt
1-2 fresh figs
Put oatmeal and water into a ceramic bowl. Heat in a microwave oven for 3-4 minutes and bring to boil. After then leave to cool to room temperature and drain. Pour milk, diced figs, cooked oatmeal, cinnamon, sugar and yoghurt into a food processor. Mix them well, then serve in tall glasses with a pinch of cinnamon.

I love it Emma! And well who doesn't like a good smoothie right. And with figs no less. Yes it is maybe not entirely white but it still looks pretty good and you used the white tones that are in the smoothie really well. That first picture is definitely my favorite! Thanks so much for participating in this months challenge!

Dear Simone! Thanks a lot for your kind words! I really hope that this month's theme will also be so great like this was, or the previous ones 🙂
