Happy New Year to all of my readers! I hope all of You had an amazing holiday and will have an exciting, successful year, which You spend in healthy condition eating healthy meals. In 2013 I try to make my dishes as healthy as can, and I myself try to loose some weight.
I know that the very first post is also a dessert, but I have to tell You it was made last year. The recipe is based on lovely Deeba’s recipe at Passionate about baking, who is not just a brilliant photographer, but a professional baker as well. I changed just a tiny part of recipe, as with a whole tin condensed milk it was too sweet for me. All in all the preparation is so easy with a very good blender, and I loved so much that chocolate cover was made as simply as possible: just sprinkle the chocolate chips on the top of cake when it’s still lukewarm, then spread over the top and wait for the time to eat….
Oh don’t forget the white chocolate chips to decorate like a domino…
Ingredients:
250g digestive biscuits
85g whole almonds
75g butter, melted
300-350g condensed milk (3/4 tin)
Topping
100g dark chocolate, chips or chopped up
a handful  white chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 200C. Butter the sides of a 8 X 8″ square baking tin, and line the bottom with silicon baking sheet.
Place the biscuits and whole almonds in the jar of a blender and process until you get a sand-like crumb meal.
With the processor running on slow, pour in the melted butter, followed by the condensed milk. It should all come together in a sticky glob … something like flubber.
Transfer to prepared tin, level out with an offset spatula or butter knife, and bake for about 20 minutes / until slightly firm to touch. It will set as it cools.
Leave for about 15 minutes, then sprinkle the chocolate evenly over the top. It should melt in 5-7 minutes. Smooth the surface with a spatula over the top, with a sharp knife sign the shape of Domino, then arrange white chocolate drops.
You might need to refrigerate it for the chocolate to set.
Cut into squares and serve.
